New developments & stages

NBN Co is currently building fibre infrastructure in over 230 new developments (each with over 100 premises) spread across 180 locations nationally and comprising over 21,000 premises.

We have also created an interactive national map showing the estimated likely coverage areas based on NBN Co’s rollout schedule. Here, you can see new developments (NBN Ready Estates) where NBN services are already available and where work has commenced - including the different construction stages within these developments. Please note the key identifying rollout phases at the bottom of the map allows you to toggle pins on and off to get a view of different phases of the NBN rollout. This map data will be updated monthly as work commences on new developments across the country.
