Low-Income and Digital Inclusion Forum

nbn has committed to establishing a multilateral working group to identify possible targeted initiatives to improve access, affordability, and digital ability for low-income and vulnerable end users of the nbn® network (the Low-Income and Digital Inclusion Forum).

nbn has convened and chairs meetings of the Low-Income and Digital Inclusion Forum at least once each Financial Year. The inaugural meeting was held in March 2023.

The forum facilitates active collaboration among members with the aim of improving access, affordability, and digital ability for low-income and vulnerable end users of the nbn network nationwide.

Membership of the Low-Income and Digital Inclusion Forum is open to not-for-profit groups, consumer advocacy groups, government agencies and access seekers. Together we will actively contribute to regular Low-Income and Digital Inclusion Forum meetings, progressing targeted initiatives and leveraging existing digital inclusion work, using an evidence-based approach.

This forum is distinct from the Product Development Forum, where nbn, access seekers and relevant customer advocacy groups suggest and provide feedback on future nbn product ideas, participate in the development of new customer service initiatives and gain visibility of upcoming products.
